The Church of God of the Union Assembly does hereby state our beliefs in, and support for, the following foundational, orthodox Christian doctrines.

The Trinity
The trinity is made up of three separate, coequal, eternal beings: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.

The Holy Bible
The Holy Bible is the written record of God's revelation to man. It is complete and infallible. It is sufficient for life, faith, and practice. It is superior to conscience and reason, but it is not contrary to reason.

The Deity of Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ was with God the Father, was born to a virgin, lived a sinless life, died an atoning death, rose the third day, ascended back to heaven, and will physically return to this earth.

Fallen Man’s Only Hope of Redemption
Salvation is provided though the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ. His shed blood alone can cleanse sin.

The First and Second Resurrection
Jesus Christ rose the third day--at His appearing all that are in the grave shall hear His voice.

Baptism by Immersion

The Sacrament of Marriage
Established by God and honored by Christ, the institution of marriage consists of the union of one man and one woman.

The Baptism of the Holy Ghost
At salvation, God gives every believer the gift of the Holy Ghost. The baptism of the Holy Ghost brings about a new dimension to the believer. The gifts of the Holy Ghost are essential to the church and to the believer.

Sanctification
As a progressive and continuing work of grace, every believer is compelled to grow in their relationship with God.

Divine Healing
As with all New Testament doctrines, God’s Word is clear on this point. He alone has the power to heal. Physical healing may be immediate or incremental. Emotional, relational, or familial healing is provided for as well.

The Church
The Church is the body of Christ. Each and every believer, born of water and Spirit, is an integral part of the church of God.
